A Black and White Headshot Photographer Olympia

When Marcia came to me for headshot services and asked if I wouldn’t mind doing black and white versions of the photos. I squealed with joy after our phone call. Black and white headshots are my favorite. They remind me of that golden Hollywood era.

The benefits or rather my love of Black and White Headshots:

• It keeps everything clean. Color can be a tricky thing but turning an image to black and white can simplify that. It wont matter if your wearing contrasting colors.
• Its consistent. The images could be placed anywhere on any social media channel or website. Regardless of their color scheme your black and white image will look great.
• Its flattering. Black and white makes it all about tones as opposed to a bit of a red face or eye shadow that didn’t turn out quite right.
• Black and white clothing will look pin sharp. Wearing black or white can sometimes “pop” from a background that’s green or blue, etc. but converting the image to black and white allows our eyes to easily identify shapes and textures instead of trying to interpret color.
• It becomes all about the light and shadow. This kind of focus can be intriguing and engaging to viewers.
• Combining with text is simple. When using the headshot on other materials or with other media like text can keep things clean and clear. Making it simple for clients and potential clients to understand your message.

What do you get when you hire me to do black and white headshots?

• You get all the images that are in focus. Sometimes that can range between 50-200 images.
• You can do as many outfit changes as you want as long as it fall under an hour. I recommend jackets, shirts, jewelry to help get variety in your headshots.
• You get a link to download from that you can also share with your social media team.

How quickly can you get in for a headshot?

• Depending on schedule its usually within the week.
• Images are delivered within 48hrs.
• 5 images of your choice are retouched, included in the package fee.
• Should you need more retouched it is an additional fee.
