Pageant Photographer Olympia based, we do headshots within studio and outdoor settings. I love doing pageant photography for my clients, I even love throwing in the family occasionally.
You never know when you might need those photos of your hubby or puppy!
This really helps things stay crisp and sharp. White backgrounds seem to work best because then you can have pageant retouchers do alterations easily. You never know how you want your poster to look so its best to have a “neutral” background so the retoucher can adapt to your needs more easily.
Doing studio shots is a great way to control the lighting and key to getting “catchlights” in the eyes. Those little white spots in the eyes really make a person sparkle and keeps the viewers attention on the image.
Going outdoors…why wouldn’t we do this? It adds variety. Gives one something extra to post about. Is a gateway to connecting with other supporters that might not connect with a studio type shot. Gives you an opportunity to do something different and interact with a different environment. Getting ready for a photo session is a lot of work why not get more mileage out of it? Honestly for me we live in a great state, we should always include the beauty of it.
It gives you a chance to change into a different outfit. Gets more mileage out of that investment of time doing a session. Brings out your natural smile very easily. Every time CJ’s husband walked into the studio area she glowed from inside out, that’s really the main reason 😀
Credits for this wonderful make up artistry goes to Zoe who you can connect with here.
