Honeycuspe Waffle Food Truck in Olympia has the best waffles around, light fluffy and crispy all at the same time! When I take a bite of a Honeycuspe waffle I am instantly transported back to one of my favorite waffles in South Africa.

I have a huge craving for waffles most of wake time. I grew up eating waffles every weekend or whenever we went out to eat. They were the kind you could compare to eggo waffles. Then I turned 23 and moved to Cape Town where I was introduced to a Belgium Waffle. IT is the most heavenly thing you will ever eat and you only need syrup and cream.

Last mothers day I came across Honeycuspe, and realized they take two of my favorite things and combine them. My favorite waffle they serve is the “My Love Though” with a sausage patty, almond butter, lavender honey and maple syrup. Just perfection.

Now lets talk about Jeff, those of you who know him know he isn’t a sweets guy. He doesn’t even really like baked goods. But today he had a waffle and he did the happy food dance. He ordered the “Breafkast” that’s right the K and F are switched. Check out the image below to see what was on Jeff’s waffle.
