I love visiting the Botanical Gardens. I didn’t get enough time in my student years doing macro photography so when I moved to the states I was pretty excited there were plenty dedicated spaces I could go to and practice this skill. My favorite is when plant life has little dew spots, I did manage to find one leaf with drops of water. Lady is enjoying going everywhere with us during this time.

Jeff spoiled me rotten today with eats from Honeycuspe Waffles in Olympia, check out the pictures here, and Left Bank Patisserie from Downtown Olympia. It has been a lovely feast with lovely walking in between.

My friends also surprise me with birthday goodies including little butterflies setup around our front porch. Like ninjas they snuck up and placed stickers and butterflies everywhere along our front porch area! I will probably be driving my car around with the stickers until they fall off 🙂
